Riad Hanan is a traditional Moroccan home carefully restored in the manner of an intimate Moroccan riad (a house built around an interior garden). Constructed with traditional tadlahkte, an adobe type of mud mixture, Riad Hanan offers 4 sleeping rooms (shared bathrooms) with a large interior garden, salon and terrace.
Because of its location near Ouarzazate, you’ll enjoy easier access to the Sahara desert. Riad Hanan is ideal for those traveling for business or pleasure, and perfect for groups and families.

Where it's Located
Riad Hanan is located in the small Berber village of Talat, just 10 km south of the city of Ouarzazate, 4 hours south of Marrakech and 3 hours north of Zagora. It is easily accessible by car, taxi, or local bus services. There are many commercial flights within Morocco, and international flights to Casablanca and Marrakech and other Moroccan cities, and between Europe and the Ouarzazate Airport.

Dinners include 3 courses: soup or salad, main course of tajine, couscous, or brochettes, dessert of seasonal fruit and mint tea. Vegetarian meals are also offered.
Lunch is 100 Dirhams per person.
Kitchen use only available for reservations of 1 week or more.
Local pool access at an offsite partner facility is 100 Dirhams per person per day.
Massage is 300 Dirhams per person (24 advance notice required).
Berber henna is 125 Dirhams per person (please allow 3 hours, 24 advance notice required).
Laundry service is 30 Dirhams per load.
Airport transfers are 250 dhs per car each way (maximum 4 people).
For families, children between the ages of 0 and 2 sharing a room and bed with parents are at no charge. Children from 2 and 7 are extended a 40% discount; children from 8 to 11 receive a 25% discount; and children 12 and over are full price.
Moroccan nationals traveling as a couple must show proof of marriage to stay at the riad.
Pricing is valid until December 31, 2024 and includes taxes (4% service fee added for credit cards). Convert pricing to different denomination. Price is subject to applicable exchange rate at time of booking.

You may pay for your reservation in advance by VISA or MasterCard (+4% service fee), or on arrival in Dirhams, VISA, or MasterCard, through us or under the terms available through our booking partners.
Can I book the entire riad for my family or a group event?
Yes, we love hosting groups! The riad is especially well suited to family and small group trips because of its intimate nature.
Can I book the entire riad for a long term stay?
Yes, the riad can be reserved on a weekly or monthly basis. Please contact us for pricing and other terms.

Bren, an American from Colorado, has been living in Morocco since 2016. Bren owns and operates Riad Hanan, as well as Cherg Expeditions tourist transport company, Hunter Marsh tour agency, and Khamsa Exports, specializing in organic Argan oil products. Bren has painstakingly created Riad Hanan to capture the traditional riad experience for clients. She understands that each client has unique needs and caters to those needs.
